This is going to be a tough game. New Castle are preparing for league cup final they also wants the top four finish. I believe we can win this.
    1:2 my prediction.

I think 1-2 is the most likely score that gives us the win here.

I don't think we can win by scoring 1 anyway.

Newcaslte just look a little tired at this point.

26-12 Leicester 3-0 win. looked quite good there
    31/12 leeds 0-0
    3/1 arsenal 0-0
    7/1 Sheff W 1-2 loss fa cup
    10/1 Leicester 2-0 league cup
    15/1 Fulham 1-0
    21/1 Palace 0-0
    24/1 Southampton 1-0 League cup
31/1 Southampton 2-1 League cup and red card)
    4/2 West ham 4/2
    11/2 Bournemouth 1-1

Thats a game ever 3 days for a full month for thier smaller relied on squad.

The break form west ham to bournemouth was the biggest rest they've had since the world cup.

This week now is probably crucial for them just to get back in some sort of shape and energy.

We have been having FA cup replays and all that good stuff so its not like we've been much different but we are starting to just come out of our slump.

This is a key game for both clubs.

The question is which club will see it as more vital.

Liverpool - reality is its absolutely must win. Newcastle can draw and move on happily. 9 point sis the gap before game sin hand.

Newcastle will have one eye on Wembley. A clubs thats won nothing for yonks can't ignore that big game in a week, the players can't either. That might lead to just easing off on a challenge or stretching for a block. Maybe.

Liverpool have their real massive game on tuesday next. 6 days to CL last 16 v real madrid where a big win is required or bust given the second leg is away. just the same as newcastle, will LFC players be minding themsevles. This goes down to belief.

honestly if i were a betting man one side will be happy with the draw IMO, Newcastle should be happy with that and move onto the league cup as after that they have one game a week run in to fight spurs off for 4th. the draw ALMOST puts us out of it.

    Some really bad news:

Anthony Taylor will be the referee for the game. He of course has had a great career base don lying about the club he supports (Altrincham) but lives less than 10miles form Man utd's old trafford and is well known as a Utd fan.
    Assistants

Assistant referees: Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn
    Fourth official: Craig Pawson
    VAR: Chris Kavanagh
    Assistant VAR: Simon Long

We will be playing 12 men. never mind the great newcastle support making it even harder.

Very much doubt your manager feels that way and probably not the owners either .

    Newcastle
beat Leicester away and Fulham at home in the 7 games since the WC

    Liverpool
beat villa away, Leicester home and Everton home in those same 7 games.

Would say we’ve both been as **** as each other.

We’ve won as many points in our last game as Newcastle have in their previous 3 combined.

we’ve won more points in our last 3 games than newcatsle have in their last 3….

So who is in better form?

Ah, leave him alone. A small measure of success - no matter how temporary - often goes to the heads of those used to years of mediocrity.
