I dont feel the fans would be the same with him, as it shows he has no loyalty to the club. Pearsons gone and the club has to move on.
But isn't this letting emotions get in the way of logic? I mean, he's a top manager, probably the best in this league, sure you can get over this?
I'd welcome him back due to the job he's done here, but he would have to make up for all of this with results on the pitch. If we were to get promoted with NP as manager, would anyone care too much about this circus over the last few days? As it is it feels like he has burnt too many bridges with the club making his position awkward. He would have to open up to the supporters and prove that he is dedicated to the job here for the supporters to get behind him again.
Whoever comes in will have some money at their disposal particularly if we are still in and around the play offs which is where i expect us to be come January. We certainly need someone whos more consistent at putting away some of the chances we keep creating and missing, its the difference between success and failure given the rets of the squad is in good shape.
I've being a supporter of NP while he was here, but to say he is probably the best manager in the league is pushing it. Top manager? perhaps but he's not the best in this league. There was life before NP was here and there will be life after he goes, I think we'll manage OK thank you very much.
I think he will also have problems dealing with the older players and bigger egos in the Leicester squad. Pearson likes working with kids who don't answer back. There could be a few fireworks in the dressing room and I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing turns sour for him and Leicester.
^^^^^^^^^ This ^^^^^^^^ If he came back the fans and the squad would know he wasn't to be trusted. We would probably have to go through this every time another managerial post became vacant.
I have told my wife that this weekend I would like to take a chance on Saturday night to pop round town, to see if there are any better offers of women out there for me to go and live with. (I'm trying to keep it clean) I have however mentioned that if i arent happy completely with whats on offer I shall continue to live with her...... I wonder how she will feel about me next week if I stay?.....
This is a really pointless thread Pearrson's going, thanks very much and let's move on- he's a good manager, with two good blokes as his back ups and together they are a v. good team but NOT irreplaceable!!
I agree with Theo. If he decided to stay and we continue to improve as we have done under his reign I'd be more than happy. That said, I can't see it happening!
If you think the thread is pointless you don't have to read or comment on it. There is a point because as yet Pearson hasn't made his decision public and until he does there remains a very slim chance that he could stay.
Never been for a job interview and then decided to stay with your current employer? Or used it to leverage more money? Millions and millions of people do it.
