I hazard a guess that Critchley says that we gave some sloppy goals away and have to do better. The sort of thing I may say to an u10's team
Just seen his post match interview, FFS, this bloke is absolutely clueless. "On corners we mark zonal, part zonal". Well which one is it you tit?!! He also said again "we need to keep the ball out of our goal better". You couldn't make it up. He is a complete amateur.
Based on tonight's showing, we have, at most, 5 players who couple the ability to play at this level with a consistently high work rate. Clearly, having less than half a team capable of delivering is a recipe for disaster but when you add in the lack of organisation, tactics and motivation from the "manager" (sic), relegation beckons. A six hour round trip of 300 miles wasted. Again.
Why didn't Lowe take the pen ? Have seen his pens in training and they were unsavable ! I didn't fancy Chair to score it the moment he picked up the ball even though it was an unreal save with his foot. Everything's just so **** at the moment, I can't be arsed to comment further. This side and hierarchy don't deserve my expenditure of energy.
would have been much more fun with me wherever and steelsy in charge we would have put utrs in charge of the music
A question why take our best player, Sam Field who is a CDM and place him on the right of midfield, and ask Dozzell to play as DCM. Dozzell tried hard, but was no where near as commanding as Field. The insistence playing 442 also. ( I am still wondering when we will see the likes of Balogen, Clark-Salter, Richards, Roberts, Amos, Willock plus Dykes which is understandable... 7 first teamers out...plus niggling injuries to Laird and Johansen does actually partially explain our predicament I suppose)
I'm so sick of it Beth, it's been like this for many seasons. We recruit sicknotes who can't fall over an elastic band without fracturing something. It's utterly ridiculous, remember when we went up under Warnock, we seemed to have the same core 14 players every week. Things are so wrong at the club currently, it feels like a little bit of the soul of the club is slipping away with each passing game !
Diddles could have been in charge of refreshments at half time whilst he was giving a sermon to the players
It is very fair of you to point out the injuries Beth, and no doubt a significant factor, but is that enough to save NC's credibility? Only points will do that.
Being a bit of cynic... I wonder if a few of those people who are sick just don't fancy it... Laird who is particularly keen to go off is the main one.... Also we are paying loans on Richards and Roberts and Laird ...who essentially don't play... at least Tim 5vowels seems fit enough to play and puts a shift in whenever asked even his game time always contains elements of the sublime mixed in with a very healthy dollop of the ridiculous.. Yes I am still angry this morning. I still think most of our players are giving everything they can...but they seem to feel disorganised. This was especially noticeable after the substitutions last night...we had no shape, we were like a headless chicken. Chair seemed particularly angry and I am sure I saw an angry discussion with Critchleys no2 on the touchline, whilst Critchley stood pretty motionless by the side. Something really needs to be done and quickly.. we need 4 wins probably...it should not be impossible surely
So, I was out last night and took the utterly ridiculous decision to record the game on the red button and watch it back this morning without knowing the score. Jesus ****ing christ!! This situation is becoming past saving. Critchley is clearly out of his depth, plus a lot of the players look like they couldn't give a ****. We sign Martin and then appear to have absolutely no plan on how to get crosses into the box from the byline. Our loan players like Tim, Laird and Lowe have ability but have zero interest in fighting for the cause. Chair is going backwards and will never play at a higher level. His penalty was awful. Dickie has turned into a complete clown. We spent large portions of the game passing the ball sideways and backwards. What the **** was that formation and why was one of the best defensive midfielders playing on the right of some strange diamond? In what world is Dozzell better than Field in front of the back four? I absolutely get that continually changing the coach isn't the answer, but this guy is taking us down. The players need a scary **** to put a rocket up them.
After last night, and having listened to his post match interview, he does seem rather out of his depth. When asked about confidence, and losing 0-3 his response, 'it is tough for everyone...', 'confidence is low...', 'we have a choice to make every time we step into the building...', 'I know what we need to do...', just all seems so placid. Other managers would have been fuming after that display, and maybe that is maybe what the players need. Interview is here; This could save him, but yet another poor decision by those at the top of the hierarchy.
Surely there must be some form of get out in the contract… in the real world, if you do a **** job, you lose it, and don’t get paid the whole contract value…
