I'm talking about Slater. The way some were going on earlier Slater's the only City player to ever lose the ball in midfield while trying to be progressive. Heavy touch, etc. Tufan no better there but hey that's what happens when you try to make something happen.
Play-offs was never realistic this year. Wait until summer when we can sign a proper defensive midfielder, **** Woods off somewhere else and relegate Slater to being a squad/rotation player.
This is what's annoying, we were never a realistic play off chance - to win them much less make them - but the way some are carrying on you'd think Rosie took over with us top and we've plummeted rather than the other way around. Unrealistic expectations from some.
We had the right midfielders on the pitch, just at the wrong times and not necessarily in the right order.
