Norwich Away

As I mentionned in Shearer's Ebar yesterday some of you may be aware that tickets are now on sale to season ticket holders with 25(!) or more loyalty points for Norwich away.

I have 3 season tickets all together and am planning on going with 2 mates. I have less than 10 loyalty points on all three tickets.

Do any of you think there is a chance of me getting a ticket and are any of you in the same situation...?

Advice would be much appreciated!

 

Got plenty of loyalty points and I'll be going but I notice Norwich have jumped on the bandwagon and have increased their prices for this one.

We don't know what the allocation of tickets is yet so it's hard to say whether you'll get them for your mates or not.

 

Yeah prices are ridiculous at the moment...Do you think tickets will go onto sale for season ticket holders with no loyalty points eventually? From experience...

 

Never going to Norwich. It's in a really annoying area to get to, and the prices are ****ing ridiculous now.

 

Should imagine you'll be able to get them, it's not the most popular trip in the league.

 

Spoke with some lads from Norwich and the standard allocation is 2500/2600.

Will the club take the maximum allocation?

I'm trying to go if I can get a ticket.

 

£45 for Norwich, absolutely disgusting. I miss the Championship...

just rang the box office and the guy on the phone told me that the allocation NUFC chose was 1400...

They only took this many seats because of the ridiculous price they are charging us.

Sunderland fans were charged £35 - so were City fans.

Norwich have had a 3 band pricing system in place for many years now, regardless of which league they are in. Categories A, B & C with A being the 'Big' teams that normally bring a large following (Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs etc), add to that it is a Saturday 3pm kick off. Looks like you guys have been placed in to that category where as the Sunderland game was on a Monday night on Sky TV so that would have been either a category B or C, C I suspect.

 

I am not using that as an excuse for the prices - I agree it is way too much

 

They are guaranteed a big away support attendance for this one, makes sense they'd put the prices up, but 45 quid is an absolute joke.

 

I wouldn't have thought there would be that big an away attendance?

We took 800 to Stoke... Norwich is considerably further and although its a 3'o clock KO it will be dark after the game...

 

I'm more bothered that I can't get tickets for one of the only away games I can attend this season than the ridiculous price I would have to pay.

 

We were selling out in LG1, as a Norwich fan living in London i will see more away games than home matches, they are like gold dust

Well I can't honestly pass judgement on that since I don't attend, but what I mean is that Newcastle generally has a big away attendance and a weekend 3pm game is likely to sell more than a Monday night one.

 

Do not forget, you have a big fan base in London too and those guys tend to bump up the away following for the games in the South

 

I've never actually been to an away game, hoping to get to a few this season and this was one I was considering.

Having second thoughts now like.
