    Is it madness to think that Kane could drop back into midfield and play Richarlison as the lone striker ( still on the Tramadol) Kane is our only player who I would trust to make that move , he seems to be able to play any role except for goal keeper

    The optimist hopes this forces Conte to buck his ideas up a bit

    At the very least, commit to 352 so Skipp and Sarr get regular games

    I'd go 442 instead of trying to mirror their wingback system without the personnel to do it.

    Forster
    Royal Romero Lenglet Davies
    Porro Skipp Sarr Kulusevski
    Kane Son

    But switching system after playing a different one so dogmatically for over a year is much easier said than done and not a sensible idea to try it for the first time away from home in the CL.

    Conte has hinted at using a flat back 4 so hopefully we've been working on it in training. The other option is 4231 with Richarlison leading the line and Kane playing deeper.

    I don’t know why but I have a weird confidence about tonight. Skippy is gonna boss the midfield and Sarr is going to turn into prime Yaya Toure. 4 away goals for Kane and a clean sheet. You can thank me later.

    I haven't been convinced by Perisic since the beginning of the season and some of his performances recently have showcased both his age and lack of defensive ability.
