Of scum and Reading, respectively, according to the Mail. please log in to view this image I said at the start of the season that I'd like to see Kuszczak come in, but I'm not sure he'd be happy with a mere one-month loan. A definite improvement on Rachubka and Cairns though (maybe even equal to Lonergan) if we can tempt him. please log in to view this image No idea about McCarthy. Can any Reading fans shed any light on whether he's decent or not? Looks like he's spent nearly all his career out on loan in divisions Three and Four.
Kuszczak all the way for me, wouldn't mind him joining on a permanent deal eventually and providing some competition for the No1 jersey
McCarthy is a done deal. 28 day emergency loan according to our O.S. You'll like him. He's a quality keeper, just can't get in ahead of the managers favourite Federici at the moment.
If he's discovered it's not against the rules to put your hands out above your head, he'll do better than rachubka.
Surprisingly away at Leicester & he didn’t have anything to do, think he caught one ball & his kicking was average We know how good he is though, as he played against us and kept you in the game. Very happy with the loan move & think its beneficial for both parties
He made a decent save knocking a powerful shot over the bar that he could have caught, but it was a game of few chances. Still better tested that Kasper, who had no chance with the long distance punt goal.
I didn't see any powerful shots on our goal from your team. Nothing you sent our way ever looked like going in, there were a couple of half assed chips, one that was dealt with and the other didn't need to be dealt with. And of the testing against Schmeichel, he went down to save a shot that was already out when he touched it (and gave away a corner for it ) and nearly cost you by coming out to clear a ball extremely poorly. He also had a couple of temper tantrums.
