I counted 14 that are no longer in the FL - and, a little worryingly, I've seen us play at 12 of them. I've only missed out on Bradford PA and Gateshead. As for the nicknames, I think many of the clubs have more than one. The only ones I really didn't recognise were for Colchester, Gateshead and Southport.
Sure. I mean Spurs were/are also ‘Lilywhites’, as were/are Leeds. But I’ve not heard of Brighton as the Shrimps, although I knew Seagulls was a new one. Notts County as the Lambs, is totally new to me. Leeds as the Peacocks, new. As is Coventry as the Bantams. There’s quite a few actually. I would have had Huddersfield as the Terriers, Bristol Rovers as ‘The Gas’ or the Pirates. I was impressed Matej knew the Citizens. I bet many a modern fan would not know that.

Looks like that has fallen through - Southampton were only offering a short term contract and he wanted a longer one.
There should be more of this - Spurs WSL player charged with "successful deception of a match official" after a red card awarded against an opponent was overturned. They did try that in the Premier league for a while but soon got scrapped as managers complained certain players were targeted. Don’t blame them really . Bit of a strange choice anyway.
