Well in my book I'd say Koch, Cooper are no nonsense type of defenders and also yesterday Adams & McKennie were spoilers not creators.

That in a nutshell is our problem and whoever comes in as the new coach will be looking to get that defensive/offensive balance correct. It will be tough in my opinion because whilst we have some good attacking options the midfield creativity still isn't there.

Big Sam plays the same football as Dyche yet has more PL games under his belt as a manager and only one relegation to his name. He says he'd have the job. If you are such a Dyche fan then Allardyce is actually an upgrade on Dyche and is still available.

Would you take Big Sam and why not?

As far as I'm aware it's opposition fans that sing "Jimmy Saville, he's one of your own!".

The Leeds fans respond with "Jimmy Saville, he fingered your mum!"

Either way, it's not great when your 10 year old son asks what they are singing.

Yes I'd take Big Sam and for the reasons you mention, my main concern however is his lack of desire to do another 3 to 4 years. It's abundantly clear we need stability to go alongside PL survival and that's why I'd be exploring other options first.

Roy Hodson did a decent job at Crystal Palace but he stayed for the longer term so I've no problem with older managers.

I said a few days ago that a prime Pablo sat in front of McKennie and Adams would be sublime. Harrison just doesn't have the key to unlock the door often enough.

The other main thing to come out of yesterday and this was from a very reliable source was that the players didn't rate Marsche and were happy to see the back of him.

    True ?

Dunno for sure, but the silence on social media has been deafening since he got the sack.
