Honestly man, I don't think a lack of fitness can be a consideration in his selection. It's a wonder how we ever pick a team for the first game of the season. Dropping like flies through lack of match fitness.
I suspect there may be a sting in the canaries member. A point would be a decent result. I have my match day ticket but I will be driving down. I don't fancy mixing with the chavs on the coaches.
I am off tonight. I will report on his performance. Will also rate scran. Always like the chuck wagon at ferriby!
Norwich wont press us relentlessly like Stoke did. Suspect we will get some more of the ball so could see us nabbing a result. Who potentially replaces the injured Connolly is a big question. Rolling the dice on Tetteh or going safer with Longman? Going for 3-2 in favour of City
was Traore injured when we signed him or did he get injured in training once a City player ? If he was injured before we signed him thats a huge amount of wasted money shelled out in wages over the last year ????
Less of an issue at the start of the season where all teams are lacking match fitness. I agree though that there's only one way the get match fitness and that's playing matches, Obviously there's a difference between being medically fit and match fit and there's going to be an increased risk in those first few games coming back.
He'd been out since feb but was training when we signed him. He got injured again in training his first week here.
Anyone know if you can pay on the day? Just in case I want to do a mad 300 mile round trip at the last minute.
Anyone go there for the 1-1 on a foggy night in Norfolk? i think it was Dublin for them, Campbell for City...Drive back took forever due to a thick pea souper.
Prutton predicting a 0-1 to city vs the canaries Means absolutely ****all as he predicted a 2-1 city win on Saturday, be nice if he’s right this time though…..
While I want us to win every game I push back a bit on the narrative that we're somehow underachieving under Rosie. People need to remember where we were when he came in and where we are now. The fact the Play Offs are even a possibility is a ridiculous achievement for him, and can only put us in good stead for next season. The short-termism of football fans (and not saying that's you Brady) is quite fickle. Just look at Reading fans souring on Ince now when pre-season they were almost nailed on to go down, but he gave them a brilliant start to the season. Same at Blackburn.
Whilst I fully agree with what you’re saying, in the case of Blackburn, I understand their frustration as this is probably the third season on the trot where they’ve had a good/great start and then faded away, which is odd, as this season it’s a different manager but it looks like history repeating itself. I don’t think it will be too long before we’re above them, especially as we get more of our injured/banned players back in the squad.
