Here is a short compilation of Leeds chants from the last few seasons. Some good, some bad and some disgusting. Everybody has freedom of speech, but would you want to take your family there?
What I don't like is the siege mentality. I find it aggressive. Its like they hang around in packs, and fell their behaviour is justified for their love of the club. I would guess there are hundreds of CCTV camera's at Elland Road. If the club wanted to, they could very easily root them out.
Having considered the debate around this subject I've made the personal decison, that going forward, I'll now be using the correct terminology where other clubs are concerned. It would be highly contradictory of me to continue using terms such as scum etc when I'm calling others pathetic for doing similar. For the record it doesn't bother me in the slightest what others choose to do.
You'll have a very sterile atmosphere. It's bad enough that we live in a world run by the left, but all this woke and cancel culture crap as well. Also Elland, I'm sure there are a lot of equally dodgy chants from every other clubs supporters.
.... wonder if all those opposition fans will think twice about the 'we all hate Leeds scum' chant' ....but you stick to your opinion it's called free speech...still
The UK is rapidly descending into a society where free speech and expressing an opinion which goes against the woke narrative will be punishable by a lengthy spell in prison. As Idi Amin once said “There is freedom of speech, but I cannot guarantee freedom after speech”
There is a section of the south stand that is full of morons. They go just to goad the opposition fans and for me the worst offenders should be weeded out and banned. The behaviour in that section has become worse not better. I have been in that section and while the oppo fans were taunting the leeds lot the police did nothing with one man about in his forties being the worst. The police mainly trained their video cameras on the south stand. A leeds fan decided to crowd surf and it was quite funny. But apparently crowd surfing is a dangerous act so they arrested him. I do not get this hatred of other teams.. For example i have a mate from spalding a man utd fan. He detests Liverpool and lincoln city.
