He makes a fair point about the age of the squad though. Ignoring loans we have one defender, midfielder and striker over 30. You then have a 28 year old, two 26 year olds and a 25 year old.

Bassini is going after all - I thought originaly it was a ploy to say he wasn't going so tickets sold to those that are likely to be a bit more understanding rather than those that just wanted to demand answers throughout the meeting from him and no one else would have got a look in.

 

That's precisely what it was. Not that I'm criticising him for it.

 

Adrian Mariappa is going to be the player involved.

From what I read Bassini could be getting some tough questions, if, and it's a big if, some of the people going get a chance to have a say. From previous events some of the questioners like to hear the sound of their own voices rather too much, with long rambling speeches. I hope that they keep it short and snappy so that as many points can be answered in the available time.

Whatever happens, I hope that we can find out a bit more about the man and his plans.
