Looking like Bielsa is the man for Southampton, which is now staffed by former Man City scouts, DoF, Sporting Director and academy directors. Mainly all former Pep appointees. Can they get him earlier than the summer?

Traditionally if you appoint 3 managers in a season you are doomed for the drop. So I would put money on Southampton going down. If I was Bielsa I would stand back till the Summer and let somebody else take them down. If I was Southampton's board I would be very aware of the former and bring in Big Sam not he won't keep them up however it might not be that bad a blow come may and could be sitting on top of the likes of Wolves.

Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen on the bench. Never heard of him. Hopefully he’s a left back.

That's interesting the young Portuguese lad is on the bench, Is Cooper injured again?

Both kids are CBs so if Firpo needs binning guess Monteiro will swap with Wober who will move to LB. Young Mullen is there to experience it as he only signed his pro deal on Tuesday

I said after the Forest game that I was confident of getting something in the double header vs scum. They will give up chances and we look good on the counter.

I think the real chance of 3 points was on Wednesday and we just couldn't get over the line. Hopefully we can this time but I feel they will have worked out our weaknesses a bit for this one. I've a feeling we'll be under the cosh for most of this one.

Or Ayling to RCB, Wober to left back and Kristensen from the bench to RB.

Maguire and Shaw CB’s for them. Definitely a weakness there.

If they’re truly going for him, I’d imagine it would need to be with a view it might be whilst they’re in the Championship.

Maybe so bud all we can hope is we go at them. Just take our chances and not get thrashed like last season. A performance where the lads feel unlucky if we lose and not denting the confidence we showed midweek.

Looking at our team sheet, we really cannot afford another injury this game, it’s a very strong starting 11 but a couple of early knocks and we’re a bit screwed

Bad move if they do as he is liable to walk out at any time. Plus he has limited ability in his methods.

I think if he has a hungry squad he is ideal for the Championship I’d bet on them bouncing straight back up myself IF they support and back him with the trivial things he sees are important
