Nathan Jones has one achievement, he has today managed to push fence sitters like myself off the metaphorical fence and united Saints fans that hasn't been seen for a long time.
Don't tell him that. He'll go on at his next club (poor them) about how he's a great manager who can unite a fanbase
Tell the truth you were dashing off to confront Jones in the tunnel but you are too old to catch up with him but fair play for trying.
Thanks for the info. But until it's mathematically impossible then we're not down, and believe me, I'm hanging on the hope line for sure!!!
Coming to our aid in our hour of need the very lovely Mrs Godders has been ringing around all of her single women friends in Wales asking would they like to marry a school sports teacher and settle down to a nice quiet life in a Welsh village. So far the politest answer she has received is "**** off. Who'd want to marry that loser".
What a kick in the guts. That first half was actually quite good. And then we get a truly dreadful second half, capped by a comedy own goal from Janny ****ing B and, naturally, a total collapse. Hard to even care any more.
That is it, the final proof, God knows **** all about football or we would have won today. Jones needs to pray to a new deity.
Just tell the delusionist to f*** off. I've been watching Saints since 1958. Ups and downs, cup winners, European tours, good days... and not so good, home and away. But this, no purpose second half 10 v 11, their best player Neves playing defensive midfield, JUST ****ING MARK HIM, Please stop him running the game. We've got an extra player, push up for f..ks sake. Get the c..t out. Give me competence, it really isn't difficult. Relegated because we've got a twat as a manager..
Can’t believe I left that game not devastated or pissed off. Walking out the stadium just kinda feeling numb to it all. Only Saints lose that from the position we were in. Surprised by the fans apathy to Jones. It was all support and trying to get behind the team, tinged with nerves and I think, an expectation and acceptance that we would **** it up as time went on. Jones out songs only started after Wolves second? And were only pretty brief if unanimous protests. I think most fans realise that it’s too ****ing late now regardless of what happens to Jones after that so what’s the point. Thanks SR. We’ve been worn down by the football and results we’ve been subjected to over the last few years. Nobody can put the blame at the fans door today anyway, they tried to ignore the elephant in the room and get behind the team and were repaid with a classic Saints collapse.
it depends how long it takes them to dub over some comedy sound effects and CGI banana peel for the Janny B own goal
Used to inform, constructively, religiously every time. Never once had any feedback. Gave up with “lip service surveys” long ago. Another shame.
Funny; I meet up with my son for a general catch-up, Saints, etc. Nice couple beers before game & really good chat. 2.30 & he said, “better move” & I replied “do we really have to go”? It was great talking usual bollocks with him, who’s a great mate as well. We left. Just over an hour later, everything imploded. Still is. Seriously.
