I'm doing you a good turn. I read a lot as a teenager, Mr Google wasn't born then so I had a big dictionary with me all the time. Whenever I came across a word I didn't know I'd look it up (I think I spent more time reading the dictionary than the book). Probably about half of them stuck.
they'd have been 8 points clear after today. they lost last week in a shocker and boom man city totally **** it in sympathy the day after if city's results stay the same but arsenal win both of there's they are.miles ahead wating for city midweek in a game they only need a draw in to walk away with it. this is a wobble and a real test they shouldn't really be facing poor v everton. too slow and falling for dyche ball. poor today having been too slow again. they get a lead then chuck it. they have been brilliant blitzing sides up front. 4 attackers with huge pace and intensity.
still a draw at Bournemouth if it stays this way then it's 5 draws in 6 games? for newcastle and their top 4 credentials start looking shaky. lfc will only end up losing Monday anyway so ....... we need 3 worse sides than us. Bournemouth drawing means we need a point.
Newcastle have drawn half of their games so far. If they had won half of those draws they would be genuine title contenders
they were till they wobbled all I was saying is they it's a real test for them now, if they come through it then they will deserve to win big time. like leicester when vardy got injured and they ground about 5 1-0s in a row.
newcastle 4th. 22 games played. +22gd 41 points. liverpool 10th 20 games played +6gd (after winning one game 9-0 btw) 29 points that's 12 points difference with 2 games in hand. we play v everton Monday and newcastle next weekend. if we get out fingers out of our buttholes... well we can be 6 behind with a game in hand by end of next weekend not happening but its not impossible. that's what is so frustrating about our ****ness anyway... we need 12 points for safety first and need that win v everton in this relegation 6 pointer
God no all you would end up with is attackers just flicking the ball up to hit the arm and bang it's a pen . Mind you be a great job opportunity for upper limb amputees .
Well they either were going to run away with it or they wasn't. I've been firmly in the 'they'll fall away at some point' camp (Not saying you were or weren't btw, just happened to be your post I responded too,)
All you could tell from that photo, if you didn't see the incident, was that the ball was quite close to his hand and that the camera, ball and hand all line up. I did see the incident btw, and the ball did hit his hand - all I'm saying is that that photo is in no way conclusive. And it certainly doesn't show how everything got into that position in the first place.
Also, from that photo, Gallagher is quite clearly kicking both of Rice's ankles simultaneously. Free kick to West Ham.
it's attitudes.like this that enable the tory party, climate deniers and var. a veritable trifecta of global ****bags.
I respectfully disagree We went a number of years where that didn’t happen And as I mentioned I have played for a long time and I am yet to come up against players who have the ability to do that. plus it’s really obvious when players are trying that The law is too complicated at the moment imho and players, if they are that skilled can still do that now any way ? They just have to wait till arm is in an unnatural position
*No big words version* The only way to remove subjectivity is to say that if the ball touches the hand at all, under any circumstances, then it's handball - but that is clearly unfair. Any other decision-making process is of necessity open to interpretation. As for the "unnatural position" lark, I think it's ridiculous. What can be more unnatural than trying to block a shot with your hands clasped behind your back, or jumping with your arms by your side?
