I only saw one replay so I may be wrong, but I thought Soucek (was it?) was just breaking his fall and the ball hit his hand. Personally I think we should just go back to letting the ref decide whether handball is deliberate or not. It's subjective of course, but so is deciding what is a "natural" position. As far as I'm concerned, my arm is in a natural position as long as it's attached to my body.
I think it should be simplified If ball hits hand and stops or changes direction of ball then handball Don’t care where the hand is
interesting. arsenal draw so leave the door wide open for a big city week. spurs go full spurs. Brighton only draw. this will lessen the blow when Everton win
it's very simple isn't it. we don't want soft pens for everything. we don't want clear advantage gained like a hand off line or blocked shot to go unpunished. just apply common sense ffs. refs can call deliberate hands well enough. when people throw themselves and hands get involved then debating how big they made their body should only enter it when deciding on cards.
My arsenal prediction ringing true… although expected them to beat Brentford said they’d start dropping more points. Haven’t looked convincing since the WC
Nothing would ameliorate that pain. Disappointed in Arsenal - I've no love for them but I don't want to see City handed yet another dodgy title.
Well given city declared 300k wage for haaland or something and it was then revealed the ture figure was north of 900k a week something dodgy is going on however... City do not look right. the cancelo stuff is really really odd. the quasi dropping of bernardo silva again.. dodgy. they only won the league last year due to silva. take him.out and City drop well off. I can see both sides wobbling tbh.
Can honestly say I have played football for 38 years and counting Played at loads of varying levels and have managed grassroots teams and I have never had any major issue calling a handball. what I have found myself saying a lot of professional football is In my head that’s a handball Clearly but. Under the guidance today ….. And vice versa strange thing is In my head I am always right ….
I think that's right but Pep now has a perfect rallying call; 'infamy, infamy they've all got it in for me' to galvanise his team.
yeah, if having a siege mentality will help the camp. what's gone on with silva and cancelo and then whats the scoop with the haaland rumours?
