Because of our poor home records we have put purselves under undue pressure. Our next two games away to Stamford Bridge and home to Manchester City. Chelsea are not performing great in the premiership, and Toress is looking for his pound of flesh, I do not know about Meireless.Their manager is likely to demand a win from the players too. They are going to be fired up. As for Manchester City, they are yet to lose in the league this season, they beat Manchester United convincinly at Old Traford: but football is a funny game.Who knows.? Liverpool are capable of winning the two games and also capable of not winning any of them.I would be happy with six or four points from these two games.
It is promising that Chelsea aren't playing that well but I can't really see them losing two consecutive home games. I can see it now, they redeem themselves by putting a performance of the season in against us. Just when we start to slate their poor defence they shut us out or something. Man city at home...you can look at it two ways...Our poor home performances or their away performances which haven't been great (Bolton, Fulham and QPR). If QPR (who don't have a single striker) can score two then surely we can get a goal? But I am fully aware what the table could look like if we come out of these games with 0 points, and Fulham away would not be a great place to go to redeem such results. We have to get something out of both games.
