I hope acun can try and sort some form of fundraising at our home game next week to try and help these poor people who have lost everything, the scenes on tv are heartbreaking.,.I'm sure city fans would give generously,.,acun helped us....so lets help his people...thanks
Be a nice gesture if those travelling to Stoke tomorrow on the 30 odd free buses each chucked a couple of quid in the hat and instead of giving it to the driver, who's on pay anyhow, donated it to the appeal?
They've caught some looters........****s!!!!! The group, which looted the aid trucks by blocking the road with vehicles in Hatay, was caught by the special operations police.
On the other hand, given the reported shortage of aid, it might just show how desperate people are to feed their families.
Whilst its a great gesture from Acun to provide coaches at a tough time, we're all in Slumberland compared to this poor people. At 50 people per coach x £10 x 36 coaches its £18,000.... not much BUT ......do the right thing...
It's heartbreaking seeing the pictures on the news. Syria, especially, is a very poor country ravaged by civil war for so many years now. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this across the region and any help we can give in anyway will help those in need.
Absolute basket case of a country (Syria), torn apart by the various waring factions. You would think events like this would somehow unite a country to once & for all put their differences to a side. But it never does. As the saying goes " religion poisons everything" and they continue to live in their hell on earth.
