Wise words Heidi, well done. Im in total agreement next manager must have PL experience. Forget this nonsense we've been down with Thomas, heckinbottom and now Marsh. Ill bet it doesn't happen though

I couldn't have added anything to that, Heidi. Well done!

I always thought I would be ok with an interview, but found out that I clearly didn't have the bottle. I was queueing overnight at Leeds Uni, for tickets for the Who's 30th Anniversary 'Live at Leeds' concert. My eldest was #4 in the queue, I was #5. We agreed to be interviewed for the radio. On the 60 second countdown to going live, I realised how much of a crapper I was & skedaddled. Fortunately, son #1 stepped in & saved the day. When I sheepishly returned from my hiding place, he berated me, telling me it was a doddle. Still don't believe him. This shaped my life & I decided that fame & celebrity were not for me, hence my humble life since then. :D

It's not so easy but sometimes you just have to waffle and repeat yourself. I know when I first started out with the interviews for BBC Radio Leeds I was okay when I knew what I was talking about ie my earlier days of following Leeds. I then started getting blank memories as such but luckily wasn't the only one in the studio so was able to bounce off others which helped. Brainstorming, talks about Leeds United certainly jogs the memories.
