You don't want a left on the shelf coach, but would be disappointed in any manager that left his club mid season?

So you ignored my first few paragraphs, and just decided to start at that particular point in what I was saying? If you read my post in its entirety I said leave the U21 guy in charge and review it week by week until our top target is available. I’m quite happy with nobody rather than wrong body

But what if the U21 guy is the wrong body, which I suspect he is otherwise he wouldn’t be our U21 guy, he’d be a number one somewhere plying his trade.

Plus our U21 guy only joined last summer because Jesse promoted Jacko.

We need a top coach asap.

He was England junior futsal coach I’ll have you know.

So if ever we get to play indoors on a small pitch with a low bouncing ball and rolling substitutes… he’s our man. Maybe not best pick for set piece coach though,

Seen a tweet response from Radz today to Connor McGilligan saying the white smoke will be after the weekend. So if it’s true we have been doing some second interviews that can only mean the likelihood is coaches who don’t have jobs?

Right with you there, Shaks. I'm personally hoping that the aforementioned yankee duo take said twat to task on Sunday. An innocent removal of a kneecap will do for me, but if they can get in a bit of facial scarring, I'd be tickled pink. Too cruel?

Whoever we employ outside of the UK is a gamble, whoever it is they haven’t had a chance to look at the players or work with them. Imagine if Gallardo or Iraola joined tomorrow, they wouldn’t have a clue who plays in what position yet alone sort out what tactics best suit them, strength or weakness

I get the fears over leaving the U21 in position for too long, I think the board have been pricks on the handling of all this

I 100% agree but the keyword is top Gallardo, Iraola, Slot they’re all gambles, they can’t yet be called top.

If our board thinks otherwise and that they consider them top, fine it’s just my opinion. What my issue is: I fear we’re in danger of working through a list, getting turned down by number 1 to 4 choices and panicking and getting a Gerrard

I’d prefer us to be patient and review this week to week whilst we try to get a top target

Sky are now reporting how we’re struggling to get a coach and being knocked back, it’s making us seem desperate now.

Also. Most called for the sacking of JM because he was out of his depth having only coached in inferior leagues in the US an Austria (and a brief spell in Germany - I could be wrong on that). You think Gallardo, Slot & Iraola are gambles but you’re happy to be patient with a bloke who’s never coached in proper football. Odd logic to me mate.

I think I might have taken my eye off the ball on this one, but why is Poch not being approached?

You can fcuk off with Santo, btw. One of the few people who though / thinks that Traore is a footballer & not a straight-line 100m sprinter. He wasn't particularly clever at Spuds either, was he? Another repeat of that short spell & we're down & no doubt about it!
