Im pretty sure Newcastle is a good sports washing opportunity mate! Funny thing about Man U is not a lot will change. They already hugely overspend. They might get a kick of paint at Carrington/OT but I don’t think any new owners will make a huge difference as they’re already near the top of the tree and always a threat.
Indeed , but the reality is Newcastle was bought for **** all with the intention of turning 300 million into 3 to 6 billion over 5 to 10 years. Buying man united for 6 billion is nothing but sportswashing as it represents no opportunity to be anything else. The media will never highlight that huge difference of course. Basically this. We are an absolute perfect football club to grow value. Which means we may as well enjoy the ride. Compared to what we have had in prior ownerships I can take that. Additionally it looks like Man City and Liverpool are ****ed and out of the equation. Manu will be our main competitor along with Arsenal. Like the good old days. Bring it on.

Of course they would... they unlike newcastle can take spending to an unrivalled level from day 1. You're talking about whether Newcastle can compete on the pitch which is unlikely on most occasions already.
Even if they did take spending higher there are still more good players in the world than one club can buy. Buy the others and a good coach and manager will see them compete. No problem. At present we haven’t even started so yes City and so on should blow us out of the water but so far they didn’t, nor did United, nor did Liverpool etc simply proving my point.

They'll not likely compete on the pitch if they're bulldozing it off the pitch ..Newcastle would try to compete which is not impossible but highly unlikely. For every flash in the pan season there's decades of reality. You do realise what man United would be immediately I'd they got the kind of ownership? They could take spending to a new atmosphere. And I go back to there are more than 25 good players in the world. Why have City never won the CL? They have more money than anyone else until last year for over a decade. Having the most money is a big help but it’s not the be all and end all.
