Players will once again be showing their unity against all forms of racism at all Premier League matches between 11 and 19 February by taking the knee before kick-off, as they did on the opening match round of the season, during previous No Room For Racism fixtures and at matches immediately following the FIFA World Cup. This is in line with the decision taken by club captains before the start of the season.
Sounding out potential managers is one thing, the fine print is what may be delaying it; buying out contracts, what the new manager wants to control, what budget they get, what contract length they want, how many backroom staff they want to bring with them, wages, bonuses, getting them to understand the clubs aims and ambitions etc etc.
Well would you believe it That full weight plonka Chris Sutton has got us down for a 2-1 win on Sunday That’s ****ed that up for a start Why can’t he just keep his gob shut
Andoni Iraola has said he is open to leave Rayo Valacano but does not want to force his way out of the club. Leeds have offered to pay the full contract buy out but Rayo do not want to release the coach from his contract. Guessing that this will mean Iraola will just Jack it in and walk in the summer because the move was something he wanted. Leeds so far haven’t spoken to Slot so looking like an unemployed coach is going to be employed. God knows who but guessing it could be Nuno Espiritou Santo because I dont thnk Gallardo will come until the summer. whoever we get needs to be in the job for a long time so not wanting an interim guy, we need a good coach with experience and a record
Would rather we carried on with Michael Skubala, Paco Gallardo and Chris Armas than panic and get someone not suitable. At least the players are giving their all for them, and the style of play seems to suit them. I’m confident we’d survive with those three running the show.
I agree Essex. I appreciate that it is only one game and we did let a two goal lead slip, but why panic and get a new man in just for the sake of it. Keep these lads on, they know the players and style and they've nothing to lose.
I’ll be gutted if we go for a left on the shelf unemployed coach unless it was Poch and as that’s extremely unlikely as I said earlier, week by week no need to rush
I hope we don't go for the ex Wolves boss because If I remember rightly, although they were hard to beat, they were quite defensive. I could be wrong, but I thought they drew quite a few games and had one nil wins. Now that would help us survive relegation, but our exciting football we play might suffer.
Would rather we passed on him as well Shaks. Nothing against the guy and it's more just a feeling than the football he plays.
Exactly Shaks, it would be a yawn fest and I’m not even sure we’d have more chance of surviving relegation with him in than the three coaches we have now. We haven’t the players for that boring stuff.
4 days since he left and nobody (to my knowledge) at the club has expressed any comments about Jessie Marsch. Is that not strange?
That doesn’t really make any sense. If we meet his buy out clause then the club can’t stop him if he wants to leave, so either he doesn’t or we haven’t.
Ayling was on from the start and had been getting forward a lot so must have covered a huge distance during the game. He looked ****ed towards the end.
