With the amount of contacts Orta has, he probably has his number on speed dial.

Anyone warming to the thought that Nuno is 3rd favourite? Always thought he was decent right up to the point it looked like he had a breakdown when his striker got the smashed skull. His time at Spurs was a disarsterdarling

For once i'm going to willingly bite and answer honestly.

You know my views on football fella, I focus on performances more than results. And whatever mocking comments i may dish out and receive - if i see a team that's creating more than the opposition, whether i think the football is pretty or ugly, i believe that results will turn. Emu's 'poker' post the other day sums up the link between skill and fate in football very well in my opinion. We scored what looked to me, a classic marschball goal in 50 seconds yesterday. Fate has a sense of humour.

I used to know someone with a connection to the Leeds dressing room but i don't know anyone there now so have no idea whether the players had lost faith in Marsch... or if they ever had it. They looked like they were playing for him but that could just be testament to their professionalism.

So would I have sacked him? If the players had lost faith then yes. If not no.

That applies to this week, but it applies to last summer, world cup whatever. I do think the timing was strange given we'd just closed his second transfer window... and to anyone not clouded by their dislike of him... we'd actually been the better side in all 4 PL games we played this calendar year. But it's a results business.

We could go an a winning run now whilst playing sh*t, because that's football. It won't make the decision right or wrong in my view. If you look at the bookies odds for games or expected goals tables they all recognise we've been better than results.

But I'm absolutely fine with the decision - i'm only interested in the success of the club - and I'm very much big enough and ugly enough to take the derision that comes my way from the majority <laugh>. I respect their opinion but I really don't care too much whether they respect mine.

He has a release clause that needs to be paid ... to quit he will have to buy himself out of his contract ... in June he can leave for free

Rayo are trying to get full whack for him, that's why they're blocking the move ... must be a steep release clause otherwise Leeds would already have agreed to pay it

I’ve waited all season to say this
Good afternoon everyone isn’t it great to be a Leeds supporter
Great effort and result for all the lads
Only comment I would make to the Marsch’its did you notice how much more room the lads seemed to have and the amount of time we switched play from one wing to the other<doh>
    That’s what I saw anyway

This is beginning to look like a farce. If the reports are correct and the board have been discussing getting rid of JM for weeks you would like to think we had sounded out his replacement (whether they would like the job etc.). We did with JM so why not do the same?

Having just had a glance through our fixtures and results this season (to remind myself about the performances) my own view is I'd have sacked him after the Fulham loss.

Pretty sure that I said so on here as well at that time. The main reasons were that after being pretty woeful away at Leicester (the match before), we were then well beaten by a decent but ultimately just a better coached and organised Fulham side. They didn't play better football than us and they didn't have better players than us, but on the day they easily brushed us aside due to shape and tactics (my opinion).

Of course we all know what happened next, in that Jesse wasn't sacked and we went on to win our next 2 games. Those 6 points now look vital and so ultimately I'd say keeping him on at that time was the correct decision, even though I'd wanted him gone before Liverpool.

Then last week, when he was eventually dismissed my intial thought was he deserved a bit longer, however on reflection I think he was done. Maybe it was the stress of our predicament, or the lack of experience but he just didn't seem quite right.

As ever these things are totally outside of our control, but in my view the club made the right call as we need fresh impetus from somewhere.

We don’t really have that much time unless we’re confident Skubala and Armas can do the job.

Agree and we shouldn't be asking Skubala to do anything more than take the team on Sunday.

New coach by Monday at the latest is the ideal.

Actually just thinking that it's a good thing we're playing Scum again this weekend.

Might be a few tactical tweaks from both teams but basically it will be just go again.

It'll be a harder game as they'll start the way they did for the second half (switching wingers etc), which was more effective for them.

I honestly can’t remember when I said I’d sack him, I think it’s probably a safe bet to say it was probably before this date :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:

As I said this morning, for me, I’m not bothered about getting anyone who is 3rd choice rushed through, we should wait but I do understand why some are opposed to that thought.

With past transfers though and now this new coach business (and Radz with the white smoke comment), I can’t help feel our board are far too arrogant and cocky.
