Yeah just jesting but can’t say I’m really hopeful.
Edit: What we need is a generous slice of luck, like a kindly bounce of the ball in their pen area resulting in an open goal …. Oh

nailed it mate. I will eat @thereisonlyoneno7 head if that squad starts, that formation is the choice and if it lasts through the game never mind the next few weeks.

Is this game as big as the Swansea game from a few years ago?

I know it’s earlier in the season, but it might be close to It

It is must win for me, not sure how many more games we have at home against bottom half teams? Bournemouth only one off the top of my head. Definitely played Everton, Leeds and Forest at home already. If we are to survive we need probably 7 wins at least, this has to be one of them

It certainly is big but not quite on that level. The Swansea game was so definitive and we knew a win kept us up, we beat wolves and we could well still be bottom!

Expecting NJ to apologise for comments and that things are really good behind the scenes. Then not say much at all ever again.

withou the Salisu brick wall and some errant shooting by brentford we would have been beat 6-1 last week. Bednarek should be nowhere near the start

I think it’s stark we haven’t been able to muster a draw post WC. We have no metal. Actually our only PL result has been the Toffees win; a side that basically lost to every team available & they were even 1-0 up against us until SJWP. I’ve said before a few draws vs Fulham, NF, BHA, AV would provide something to build on. Unfortunately draws are possibly gone now as well. SR, you guys are cocks. UTS, see you Saturday.

Can see it now; lose all 4x PL games this month, “smash” Grimsby 2-1 & he keeps his job. ****ing he’ll, give me strength.

I hope a journalist asks him to expand on what the outside influences have been and what he has changed, other than usual words that mean very little like aggression and intensity.
As it stands I’m expecting boos for when Jones comes out the tunnel and I have no idea about during the game if it remains competitive and Jones continues to be animated on the sideline then I think those wanting to get behind the team will outweigh those wanting to nip at Jones.

so much of this match rests on how the players start. Anything less than them coming out with maximum effort from the start and I think we might know where there thoughts are.

I’m working on an ultra marathon that starts at 4am on Saturday morning and finishes 36+ hours later. Pretty much perfect. I just need to find another one every weekend between now and the end of NJ tenure and life will be good.

For all we know Janny B coming back in was an SR decision as we've been poor defending set pieces and NJ listened to them, we really don't know and I doubt we will ever find out.

162km or one hundred miles. There’s the 102km for soft cocks, the 50km “ultra” for wasters and a 21km fun run kids and old people. Just the usual really.

<laugh> haven't yet progressed beyond soft cock on a single day race. Supporting saints is the perfect training for the pain, struggles and misery of being an ultra runner. Enjoy your 162km! Very impressive <applause>

oh **** no, you misread the post, I’m WORKING the event not participating. If there’s no ball to chase I’m not interested in anything over 10k

<laugh> a perfectly reasonable approach to running! I'm sure working an event like that is just as difficult though, pretending to have sympathy for all the runners who are in pain and hating life despite the fact that they paid for the pleasure. Again, sounds very much like being a saints supporter!
