Looking forward to the Sidney Banks memorial Hurdle today. Does anyone remember in which Carry On Film dear old Sid James played Sidney Banks? He was Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond in Up The Khyber and Sid Boggle in Camping but I don’t remember Sidney Banks. Will need to consult google.
Anyway here’s hoping Rare Edition can confirm the good impression he made on Boxing Day.

Sid James was at his absolute best with the late, great, Tony Hancock. So many hilarious sketches it is impossible to choose which are the best ones. Here's a short promo clip taken at "Sid's Place":

What’s your thoughts on the Huntingdon Bumper?
    Rae Guest’s runner maybe?

You must be talking to Stick, GB, as I couldn't pick a Bumper winner from 16-odd contestants for the life of me. Did note that my bête noire trainer has an interesting debutante in Moon Lady? I will just watch this one, however. Hope Stick gives an opinion for you.

Sorry mate, been out this afternoon. I was on the WRONG Lavelle runner. Now we know why the other one drifted.
