I’m hopeful too. At last we seem to how found our mojo, I bet a few weeks ago they would have predicted us making the drop.
Such an unpredictable division - bar the top 2. Another 5-6 game winless run (which seems to characterize our club over the last decade), and the next iteration of this will have us much lower again. I never pay any attention to these.
unpredictable the key word ... position 6, there has been no real increase in number of points needed to get 6th it has varied between 69-71 for at least last 15 games and top 6 has [ position 6 ] has seen a whole myriad of clubs taking that position. They [ clubs ] have gotten into top 1-5 positions, but then lost a few [ like QPR ] and dropped down with another club being in form and gaining points to make it to top 4/5/6, then dropping back. top 2 seem to be only 2 that are consistently in position and now have a good gap.... need to lose 4 to allow next teams to overhaul them! there are 14 teams within 10 points of 5th & 12 within 8 pts of 6th! EG BCFC win 3 WBA lose 3 on the same points! ... [ of course other teams can get more points in 3 games or lose them so position could be higher but only a couple places from now! ]
