Many thanks LTL. Yeah it’ll all work out I’m sure, just makes you think that sometimes other things are a little more important, and yes I love my team,my club,I fell in love with them as soon as I was old enough to understand. Saints will always be my club whatever division we are in :emoticon-0148-yes:

Without knowing what your health was like before, the pacemaker should make your life better than it was and give you a better future.
In the last 20 years my sister, now in her 80s, has had 3 heart ops and was given a pacemaker 3 weeks ago and seems to be doing well.
    Fingers crossed for you.

I know it's not easy Craig but try to think of the pacemaker as a positive, they've found a problem and this will sort it out. I know people who have them and they are doing just fine, and it gives them a sense of reassurance. Best wishes.

Yeah I've pretty much accepted that we'll be relegated, in the unlikely event of a resurgence it'll be fun. But the Championship is largely Saturday focused, honest and competitive. That'll do for me.

Feels the collective mindset has moved beyond anger and disappointment to acceptance.

I don’t think I have looked forward to a football press conference as much as NJs tomorrow.
He has an opportunity to make Saturday slightly less painful by apologizing for the misunderstandings caused.

The forum was the bargaining stage of the Kübler-Ross model.

Well the best outcome from that would be not to make matters worse. Answer the questions, keep off the emotional response and if apologizing at least, keep it short and sincere.

A better win for them would have been to avoid spanking so much money on signings if they were planning to do that.

Sorry to hear about that Craig, as others have said try and think of the positives.

You’re right though, this kind of thing reminds us how meaningless football actually is compared to the really important stuff.

    Stay strong mate.

Can we change the thread title to something like:

Jones in! He's a prick but he's our prick!

But we don't want him to be our prick? He's a prick to his staff, to his players, to the fans. That's...not a thing we should want!

Nobody knows exactly what he has said to his players, to staff, just a load of hearsay really.

I'm a fan and I'm not particularly offended by anything he said, maybe some people are a bit too sensitive?

Didn't Ralph supposedly rub people up the wrong way too and players were against him towards the end?

It's not uncommon for some players to start to chafe against a manager over a prolonged period. The difference with Jones is that he has made it happen in a matter of a few weeks. He managed to get to the point where Orsic was making passive-aggressive social media posts about his treatment less than a month after we signed him! And Orsic was totally right!
