…we don’t have the risk of things like this happening. Just watching the news and there are awful scenes. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...quake-buildings-collapse-windows-shatter.html
A truly awful situation in Turkey and Syria, it must have been a frightening experience with such a terrible loss of life. My thought and prayer go to Acun and his homeland people at just a terrible time.
On top of all of this, it's snowing, raining and cold. Good luck to everyone who is searching amongst the rubble for the unfortunate people caught up in it x
According to some eejits in the comments section of HDM not our problem,Acun should stick to running City as it has nothing to do with us. You can bet they would be the first setting up GoFundMe pages if misfortune befell them, lost thousands of pounds worth of TVs, games consoles, hi fi equipment but couldn’t afford contents insurance and never thought it would happen to me, please help…
There are some proper ****ing ****s out there......normally the first people to start chucking the 'we should look after our own' arguments out when it comes to forrins.....only to then immediately baulk at the idea of helping any of our own, like when it's suggested that hungry kids should get a decent lunch at school. Hope the club does set something up, sure there are enough decent City fans out there who'd donate to help them out.
Let’s not turn this into another pissing contest full of meaningless ****e and arguing, it’s a horrible tragedy that has affected people just like you and me. We don’t need comments on the media, should be information and support. Hopefully any of Tigers family aren’t directly impacted, if they are, as a board we can reach out.
I've just been watching the news this evening. My heart goes out to all involved in this disaster. Is there anyone up for organising/getting involved in setting up a collection for victims at the next home game? Is there anyone out there with knowledge of how to do such things? In the first instance, I'm guessing the club and the police would have to be informed. Alternatively, does anyone know of the best disaster relief organisation to send a donation?
