So it's a complete coincidence that we were looking for a 'keeper, it's reported that we're interested in Kuzczack who, after we get a different player, comes out and says Ferguson blocked a loan move to us. Not that I'm that bothered, McCarthy's a great young 'keeper, but it really shows how petty Ferguson can be. I bet his son told him not to do it because he was upset at Fergie time turning against him the other week <laugh>.

United always refers to Manchester United.

If you are not aware of that then football is the wrong sport for you, may I suggest shark wrestling, it could benefit you.......or the rest of the world.

    Petty about what?

Should players have all the power?

Let Fergie run United how he wants.....seems to be doing a damn fine job with his petty behaviour dont you think.

Perhaps your own manager should grow a pair and stop allowing players to do what the **** they want*

    * im assuming thats what he does as you seem to think fergie being the boss and making the decisions is a bad thing.

There's a difference between taking charge and being, yes, petty enough to tell a player he can't go to a particular club on loan, especially when that club is his best option.

It doesn't mean he isn't being petty. Ferguson's perfectly within his rights to have done this, doesn't stop him being a dick for doing so, bit like pulling all the loan players from Preston because they sacked his precious little Darren.

You're an idiot, Kuszczak is a bigger idiot for still respecting the stupid old codger. Doesn't matter what he's achieved in his life time I'd immediately lose respect for someone who doesn't respect my wishes. Doesn't matter who his employer is, employees still have the right to quit. In football, requesting a transfer is essentially quitting but since he can't leave permanently until January he is stuck asking for a loan - one that has been refused because your manager is, always has been and will continue to be a petty overgrown child.

Yes, we did change our name. We were founded as Newton Heath in 1878 and became Manchester United in 1902. Leeds United were founded in 1919 (that's 17 years prior).

Please, if you're going to argue against something, at least have the decency to look the information up first.

And my point wasn't that there is only one United in football, but that Manchester United are also known as United and not just Leeds and given the fact we were called a "United" before Leeds, Leeds fans shouldn't be thinking they are the "original" in that any reference to "United" MUST mean Leeds.

Manchester weren't the original. Sheffield United were the first United.

Only club in the world that will keep a player who's not getting games or looking like he's going to be any part of the first team and as a result wants to leave. And I'm the nutjob...

    Did I say we were?

No. I said Leeds weren't and they shouldn't think that United only refers to them. I didn't say United only refers to Manchester United either. Please engage your brain before you comment.

I don't think United only refers to us. In fact I hate when either club is referred to as United, it just sounds wrong.

    UIR certainly did though.

Oh and UIR, Newcastle United also existed 10 years before the Manchester United name <ok>
