So it's a complete coincidence that we were looking for a 'keeper, it's reported that we're interested in Kuzczack who, after we get a different player, comes out and says Ferguson blocked a loan move to us. Not that I'm that bothered, McCarthy's a great young 'keeper, but it really shows how petty Ferguson can be. I bet his son told him not to do it because he was upset at Fergie time turning against him the other week .

There's a difference between taking charge and being, yes, petty enough to tell a player he can't go to a particular club on loan, especially when that club is his best option.

Yes, we did change our name. We were founded as Newton Heath in 1878 and became Manchester United in 1902. Leeds United were founded in 1919 (that's 17 years prior).

Please, if you're going to argue against something, at least have the decency to look the information up first.

And my point wasn't that there is only one United in football, but that Manchester United are also known as United and not just Leeds and given the fact we were called a "United" before Leeds, Leeds fans shouldn't be thinking they are the "original" in that any reference to "United" MUST mean Leeds.
