I know it doesn't have to be one extreme or the other, but I prefer watching us play KMc's football at the top end of this division to MM's brand in the middle of the Championship.

I’d prefer to eat rotten fish and toenail clippings than watch MM’s brand of ‘football’ in any division.

I think fieldmarshall and itfcptc have got the essence of the main criticism regarding McKenna. While our style of football is attractive and we dominate games, it's a difficult system to use to break down sides that are happy to pack men behind the ball and play for the draw. Since Charlton did us so effectively on the counter in that 4-4 draw a few months ago, we haven't been as attacking as before. McKenna actually strikes me as a quite cautious manager. Nothing overly wrong with that, but when we need to win games, we're maybe not as confident on the front foot as we should be.

We're a big name football club in this division and have opposition managers frequently cite us as 'the toughest team played this season'. So, supporters of clubs like Fleetwood or a Cambridge (no disrespect intended) are going to be happy for their team to play for a draw. As mentioned before, I believe our style of football will be more effective in the Championship, where teams will have to attack us and show more initiative - as they're more likely to be pre-match favourites.

I agree about McKenna being a cautious manager, it takes a lot for him to take risks and move away from Plan A. But this also concerns me that we haven't been able to hold onto leads, as given our possession based style you would expect us to be able to see out a game, simply by passing them into oblivion.

I certainly think given our style of football and players we have we would be able to hold our own even against some PL teams but I also think adding a bit more variety and getting the ball forward quicker would also hold us in good stead higher up the leagues. Looking at the analysis of the Spurs vs Man City game it reflected so many of our frustrations, City have a blisteringly fast striker who's constantly making runs into space but they chose to pass it around the back which in some games leaves him very isolated.
