Looks like Ralph Hasenhuttl is being lined up for return to management with Bundesliga strugglers Hoffenheim.
Not all fans were behind him when he came in, but so what? It's his job to acknowledge that and win people round with performances and results. It's not like from the first whistle they were chanting for him to be sacked. It's a feeling that's grown from the atrocious performances his team has served up. He has then persisted to be extremely prickly and un-endearing in almost every interview. Maybe he doesn't care what the fans think, but don't expect them to be behind him given everything that's gone before.
Can't believe they haven't sacked him. My stance is the same. Post WC there was nothing to see from NJ, since then he has underwhelmed, tinkered, gambled and floundered his way through. I don't believe for a second that he has the team with him anymore. You cannot follow someone who has no idea where they are going or why.
Nobody wanted Jones, however it’s not like there was booing from the start. Most fans were willing to give him a chance once he was appointed. Now yes, he had a much shorter rope than most new managers and maybe that’s not fair on him, but he knew what he was coming in to. He was brought in to get us out of the mess we were in following a year of mostly poor football and bad results. He has somehow made it worse. He’s been hostile from the start, and even so, most fans would take that if there was some progression in the football he’s delivered. We’ve got worse. I really don’t see how the fans are the problem here.
Exactly. Honestly, people were FUMING when Pochettino was appointed. Far worse than when NJ was (though that was also because an unknown was replacing a popular manager who was doing okay, rather than an unknown that was replacing a popular manager that had lost his way). Then we played the game against Everton, after about five minutes of him being here, and you could immediately identify with what he was trying to do, so we started buying in to him, and the rest is history. Jones has shown precisely none of that. Zero. Nada. Plus he comes across as a deeply weird, unpleasant man with it.
How on earth is he still here. Joke of a club. Sports Republic & Semmens must go. Their continued support of Jones is just utterly incomprehensible. They are, badly, gambling the future of our club here.
I still can’t get past the weeks he had with the players, during the WC. Even allowing for him giving the squad a couple of weeks off, he still had 3 weeks to work with them to implement his preferred way of playing. Okay he was without ABK and Salisu, but it’s not just defensively where we are proving to be clueless. I would have thought that 3 weeks would have been long enough to get his message across to the midfield and forwards, as to what he expected from them and even if they didn’t get it straight away, they should have got up to speed after doing it in a few games. But then I remember how many times, in such a short time and in a game, he changes formation and wonder if the players know what game plan they are working to, which then reflects in the lack of cohesion. Frustrating as ****.

Comparing the Jones situation to Pochettino is kinda laughable.. You could we what Pochettino wanted from his side within a half of football. People were pissed off at kick off and buzzing by full time. Jones has served up utter ****e in every single PL first half, and it's getting worse. Our only win was a somewhat fortunate victory at an abysmal Everton team following some magic from our captain and star.

This blame it on the fans shtick is getting really boring. The vast vast majority of the fans were behind him at the start if a little perplexed at his appointment. I was in the minority of one having major kittens about it* (backed up by @Osvaldorama but he kind of came round before a ball was kicked) everyone else was tentatively excited to see what he could do. What he can do is 6 losses out if 7, with 1 goal scored from open play. There wasn't much discontent until the appalling forest game (which is still the worst performance from Saints I've ever seen) This shows no signs of stopping, ****ing hell, there's absolutely nothing about his brand of football which looks appealing. There's no green shoots. We will not stay up under him. Everyone can see it, apart from the PowerPoint dickheads. Its not like fans are hanging effigies of him. He was backed, however we've now all had a tit-full. *Suffice to say I'm a football genius and everyone should heed my pearls of wisdom. It's definitely not a case of a broken clock being right at least once a day
Oh my god. The replies to club’s latest Twitter post… Literaly thousands of #JonesOut banners I agree with all the above. I was very worried about it, thought it was a **** choice, but wanted to be as positive as possible. But it’s become very clear all of our concerns were well founded.
I do feel for the poor bugger running the club's socials right now (though he or she is probably Jones Out as well...!)

Ankersen's managerial appointments - Marinus Dijikhuisen - Brentford - lasted 9 games before being booted Dean Smith - good appointment for them, no doubt Thomas Frank - started horribly but grew into the role and wasn't deeply unpleasant. Nathan Jones - say no more I mean, for a self proclaimed disruptor and genius, he only just about gets half of his managerial appointments over disaster levels (and I think he probably got lucky with Frank).
....and of course Frank was nice about Jones. He had the same kind of start, and he loves Ankersen. Nothing to do with the *actual* ability of NJ, I wouldn't think.

Assuming that Napoleon played Jonesball, in his time at Stoke, he won 6 games in 38 attempts. Should have given Ankersen a bit of a heads up.
