Ferran Torres did Leroy Sane went to Bayern i don't fully buy lots of the players being paid large amounts off the books as i'm sure agents gossip and / or wage claims for their other clients would have into the public domain . The staff is a different thing as much easier to keep quiet .
ferran torres was extremely odd one. he was in a wet weekend and then Barca called and he wasn't playing. sane did a very german thing in running contract down deliberately. it was interesting what he was looking for 300k a week and went to bayern who are infamous for the free transfer tap up. sterling has gone to Chelsea the interesting this is all of these post date 2018 by a long margin what about aguero, silva etc? their reported wages were nothing compared to Messi and Ronaldo. no interest from Barca and real?? I think we will find a lot of these guys were paid under the table. and I suspect that guardiola will be implicated as well. the tax man should be in for theirs
This is an independent investigation by the Premier League, and they cannot be accused of being biased.City cannot appeal ; type of punishment I do not know.
We discussed this in the past and I thought there was some precedent that meant the title couldn't be handed to anyone else? Anyway, I'd just be happy to see the ****ers lose all those titles and cups they've won - the whole football world knows they've been cheating all along and just getting away with it on technicalities. Which they'll do again. Money has utterly ruined the game, yet we see so many fans just wanting more and more ploughed into it.
This year has passed by so quick, is it April first already? I'll believe Premier League taking FFP seriously when I see Pep Guardiola in stocks and lots of angry peasants are throwing rotten tomatoes at him.
charged with over 100 breaches. i really hope they get hammered. The league needs levelling up and it will send a message to the likes of Newcastle and Chelsea also.
Chelsea have apparently approached the Premier League and asked them not to invoke FFP as they had 18 months of no income due to the previous owner being Putin's lover, or something like that.
they should be relegated. every action taken since take over is flying in the face of ffp deliberately. nobody needed to spend 583million net to end up with a massively bloated squad.
I'd feel sorry for them if they were being reasonable... Somehow can't help but laugh at them though.
Stripping City of all their titles isn't going far enough. If the Premier League really want to make a statement they should strip all the titles from every team in Manchester.
I'd like the PL to explain their definition of fit and proper owners. What they are allowing is anti competitive by it's very nature.
It's a shame this is only limited to the PL and not the FA, otherwise I'd be looking at a couple of extra Carabou and FA Cups as well
It's quite simple imo, until the tax man comes and raids them the truth won't come out. I full expect to see a tell all by a ref or hard up player in 20 years about the time they threw a game for city. If you engage in this level of stuff it can only be the tip of the iceberg. The only way to do anything it take it out of football's hands, I'm sure the ot8gin of all of this wouldn't be admissible so I'm afraid the Boris becker treatment will be required.
Well he was still banged up, not too big a star to go to jail. A few footballers lately look like they have become too big to go to jail, at this point charging them even looks difficult.
They will come to the conclusion they only cheated in 11/12 17/18 20/21 and strip them of those titles - you heard it here first
he got banged up for irritating magistrates / judges by not doing what he was told .The taxman had the square root of **** all to do with it .
