And perhaps it should be mentioned that if the teams that run on "unusual" financial practices did not hoover up a very large proportion of the trophies since their creation, then maybe Harry Kane would already have a trophy, and the call wouldn't be for him to join one of those clubs in order to get one (thus perpetuating their bought success of course). But no, it's ok because the organisation that runs Newcastle is nothing to do with the Saudi Arabian government (despite getting all their money from them) / Chelsea will repay those billions of loans / Citeh sponsorship comes from organisations that are nothing to do with the people that own them.
UEFA have said that they won't strip The Sheikh Mansour Team of the Champions League titles they've already won, so it's up to the bald fraud to realise what they were actually saying...
To their spiritual home of League 1 Local derbies against the likes of Wigan and Bolton. It’s where they belong
Let me take you by the hand and Lead you through the streets of Bolton Show you something to make you change your mind
I think he's struggling to work out how to utilise Haaland consistently in his system. He doesn't want to change the way that his team plays, but it doesn't suit the big man. He was making a load of runs yesterday and nobody was picking him out. It looked like they were scared of losing the ball and getting countered.
who are currently petitioning the PL and FA for the ban to be overturned, and to be applied to Kane (reason : for being Kane) instead.
A very, very scary number. He works well when the opposition are open and play a high line. If they're cagey, defensive and tight at the back, then it's like playing with 10 men. He doesn't suit their possession game in those circumstances and they don't pass to him. The inverted fullbacks don't cross, nobody plays it to him on the ground and he struggles. He did absolutely **** all yesterday, but where were the chances? I'm not sure playing Alvarez alongside him helped, either.
I'm glad I won't find out, but how many would Kane have scored for them this year. Has that added dimension of getting involved in the build up, but can also get on the end of crosses.
You are and always will be South London filth, even if a bunch of women chased you out. I ****ing told you!
They had him dropping off and Ederson trying to find him a few times in the first half. Worked once then Romero and Dier started getting tight when he did it, and shut him down. Ironically, if they wanted a forward to do that best, the man who scored against them would be the one they should have forked out for. It was another weird selection from Pep though. I get the inverted fullbacks but there has to be variety in the game too and it felt very predictable yesterday.
Some of what I said was in the heat of the moment, but honestly, he was absolutely diabolical. Allowed City to repeatedly foul with no punishment, missed obvious fouls on your players, didn't book any of the City players for constantly surrounding him or dissenting (and I highly doubt there will be retrospective fines issued either) and awarded soft free-kicks to Grealish and Alvarez. The latter of whom got away with an awful lot. He's a horrible referee.
To be fair, they probably have bigger issues to worry about at the moment. Like whether they'll be able to hack it on a cold, rainy Tuesday night at Stoke next season
