I bet there are a few Saints fans who are psychiatrists or psychologists with some interesting views on Jones’ interviews.
Well yeah but it’s gone from “sounds like he’s here for the Wolves game at least” to “He’s gone “ So was just wondering what had happened that made people change
I think we are all projecting/extrapolating. Don't think anything has actually really changed, but this way no action will be an even bigger disappointment...
Indeed. I mean the latest blame game from him smacks of someone who has lost control of the situation, and is no longer able to accept responsibility because it is simply too painful to bare. That's my ten pence worth.
As much as I like what Adam Blackmore is saying, I think there may be repercussions for him/solent moving forward after Jones has gone.
Agreed. It is unusual for a journo close to the club to offer such a clear opinion piece on a manager, especially one so critical.
Yeah it’s great that he has been so open with his opinion on this, but it doesn’t feel compatible with his role. It really does feel like something has happened beyond merely just being a Sports Journalist being objective about performances.
I think it's clear the relationship between Blackmore and the club isn't what it was and hasn't been for some time. After all, he said in that conversation with the Havant and Waterlooville manager that he'd been asking for an interview with SR for some time and hadn't got anywhere.
If he stays in his job, it is really bad management from the owners. Jones could win 5 of the next 6 but will never get the support of most of the fan base. Again it will be delaying the inevitable. You also have to think of the mental health of Jones, as when we go 1-0 down to Wolves on Saturday the atmosphere will be incredibly toxic. do the right thing SR.
Great he's saying then. SR, you've now confirmed our relegation and cost your major investor a lot of money.
I think some people’s fear when the sport republic project was announced is about what would happen if Dragan walked away from it. It certainly isn’t an impossibility
