Whatever the rights and wrongs of the situation - anybody at this club who doesn't want to be here is welcome to **** off in my book.

I will give Pearson credit for what he's done - but that is heavily tempered by what he hasn't. He's walked on us for money. Good luck to him. But he should have called Peter Taylor first for a little advice. Managers who walk out on us don't have the best record.

We also need to temper the "club's in a better state" argument that being bandied around. The club is in a good state, but the club is a team off as well as on the pitch, and none of that could would have been possible without stable back room support - and that is what he's walking away from. It's now down to AP and the Allams to select the next one. AP picked Brown and Taylor... so I look forward to seeing who's next.

Some people have been saying he has unfinished business at Leicester. Well, now he has unfinished business at two clubs, and he's going back to a club that has shown it doesn't have patience with failure.

So, Pearson's on his way, his loss. HCAFC are so much more than one miserable **** from the midlands; thanks for the good times Nigel, but since you don't want to be here...

    Off you ****... there's a good chap.

I'm confused. He's not actually left yet and is still under contract at Hull City AFC, so instead of foolishly saying "good riddance" I should think that if he were to leave fans would be a lot more open minded and thank him for coming in and building a team that's playing good football, is hard to beat and has some of the leagues top young players.

MattTheTiger I'm not interested in someone who doesn't want to be here. Lets face it if he wants to go to Leicester. What kind of message does it send out to the players if he stays not to mention the media/ opposition managers? I don't care how good of a job he is doing we should have more pride than that. If he doesn't want to be here he can **** off.

He's left us quite clearly for the money but he will most proberbly blame it on the fans.

I like Nigel Pearson the manager and I think as alot of others do he leaves us with a better bunch of players in most cases then what we had when he came in.. City are in with a chance of a play off spot thanks to Nigel Pearson and we have a few young players who will improve even more with time.. Away days became far better under NP then under any previous manager and our longest ever unbeaten run away from home says it all..IF he has left I doubt if anyone knows all the answers to why he left right now . The problem now is making sure we get someone in who can better Nigel Pearson if he has gone..don't think that's going to be an easy task..good luck for the future NP , But not when we play LcFc ..

I doubt it. He'll say he had unfinished business at Leicester ans his job won't be finished until we are promoted. I'm sure he'll be full of paise for the Hull fans. But he won't, as you say, mention the money!

Peter Taylor did a great job at Hull getting back to back promotions out of league 2, and then league one..he started our rise from what was division 4 to the Premier League.. Started by PT, finished by Phil Brown...Peter Taylor jumped ship and ended up wishing he hadn't . Last bit of praise for Nigel Pearson coming up, he Will get you into the Premier League, lack of cash was what let him down at HcFc and not a lack of talent...Onwards and forwards for the Tigers ....

It will all look rosier in 2 months time when we have installed Karl Robinson in as manager and are sitting pretty at the top of the NPower Championship.

Anybody thinking Pearson hasn't done a great job really is as stupid as they come. Good luck to him. If the next manager makes us as solid as him with the players we have I will run naked through the streets of Beverley as it just isn't going to happen. Whoever we get in needs to be good on the coaching side to develop the core of players Pearson brought in, this is why I would favour Mclaren despite his recent failures. If the Allams give the new manager a bounty for new players in January I just hope it isn't pissed up the wall like I've seen so many times before at the club, we need players to complement the club not mercenaries brought in desperation style like Brownie did in the end and so many other City managers I've seen.

Let's not over-react here. Pearson was a competent/good manager who made us hard to beat at the expense of the loss of 6000 fans weekly. We are a good top half of the table team with the outside chance of a play-off place - like several other teams. For that he deserves our thanks and best wishes for the future. In the uncertain world of the Football Manager he has quite rightly taken on a much better contract - who can blame him? It's certainly not the end of the world for us - there is time for a new man to come in with a fresh approach with the opportunity in the January transfer window to make changes. For us, I think it's a positive opportunity & am very optimistic.

He's rebuilt the club in one season with limited funds and we have a young team raring to go, the likes of Chester will net us millions, in his first season we had our best away run in the clubs history, we are buzzing around the play-offs right now, it's good to be positive, I usually am, but I'm struggling to think how a new manager right now really helps us at all with Nigels team

Really? I don't think he will, certainly not this season as Leicester are too ****, and there is too much of a gap and far better teams in this league, our selves included. So based on that 'not getting Leicester up' he'll be sacked at the end of the season.

Nigel Pearson the man and manager are one and the same person; the same person who has treated the supporters and board of Hull City with total disrespect - I know you have always blown sunshine up his arse and slagged anyone who disagrees with you (on here and the Fail's boards), but surely you cannot defend his position in this and the arrogant, insulting and totally ****e manner he displays to them that pays his wages?

I, for one, wish him no luck, no success and, to be honest, I hope his next **** is a hedgehog! UTT

I certainly believe that Pearson has done a good job in his time here - admittedly whilst playing pretty boring football and being a miserable **** but if you'd have offered me this number of points, this league position and this squad playing the way they are at the beginning of the season I'd have snapped your hand off and that's why I've supported him up until now. However, now he's done what he's done I don't buy into all of these 'best of luck' sentiments to him. **** off Pearson. My loyalty and passion is towards Hull City and given that he's shown **** all loyalty to them why should I support him or wish him well. Yes I know the arguments, yes we'd probably all move to a work competitor if they offered to double our wage, but it won't stop me resenting the bastard and now willing Leicester to have a **** season, finish mid-table, him get sacked and disappear into management obscurity for the rest of his life. An adaptation of the old chant springs to mind:

It was nice to have you here
It was nice to have you here
It was nice to have you here.
    NOW **** OFF!
