Oh I’m watching it, in the vain hope they call him out.

Me too. The more people who know he’s a tosser the better.

I’ve had messages from a few non-Saints mates and media types off the back of NJ’s mental interviews today.

Interesting. I listened to his interview and it seemed to me that he's not happy with concentration levels or alertness amongst some of his team members? I recognise that a manager has a major responsibility in selection and set up etc, but the players on the pitch have a job to do and from what I've seen, there's a lethargy in thinking at times from some of them, the under hit pass, too long a delay at passing, not anticipating etc etc, now that's their job, once on the pitch and for too long now it's been the case. Saints win record since such things were recorded is around 39%, and occasionally we exceed that with different managers, as with Pardew, Adkins and Koemann in more recent times, so whilst we may be rightly worried concerned or worse about the team, our special success periods are brief and certainly not the the norm. The one continuous factor is the players on the park are, in our case going to be average or less in most cases with some really outstanding ones at times. So JWP's interview really did hit the spot for me tonight.

The difference between his bollocks and what Dyche just said in his interview was so marked.

Not watching but assume they will talk about how Brentford are having a good season and we aren’t and that will be about it. Doubt they will bring up the interview

Agree. It’s been obvious for some time that he’s not up to the job, they say absolutely **** all.

Not sure I can be bothered watching it.

They wouldn’t call him out on it. Just say “they need to improve or their in trouble” or some such generic bollocks they say about non fashionable teams

Since the WC & PL restart I’ve been waiting for a reaction from the team but week in, week out we seem to have become progressively worse. Each week I think it can’t get any worse but it does. Today was just abysmal. SR ****ed up big time & they’ve somehow got to repair the damage. I’ve no idea how they do but definitely NJ isn’t the answer. So despondent. Feels like we’re already relegated.

I can’t believe how seething I still am at this utter ****show, I thought I’d grown out of getting this pissed off about football, this feels like something out of the administration days.

This impending relegation was completely avoidable and is totally self inflicted.

We might have money now, but we are terribly run. As opposed to the Gao era when we were on a shoestring but arguably very tightly run.

    Heads need to roll.

From tonight’s episode of Match of the Day…

Lineker: What did you make of Nathan Jones’ comments, Ian? A bit strange weren’t they really?

Wright: Yeah, they were strange because it’s his job to do the job. What are you talking about with you’re pandering to people? You don’t pander to people. This is the Premier League, you’ve come in here and you’re not going to get many opportunities at it. So don’t come and start throwing people under the bus, saying it’s their fault that you haven’t done what you’ve done before. Get it done.

‘So Duje, I’ve been thinking, now I’m going back to my preferred 5 at the back , I’ll need you back in the squad.
You were only out because the fans wanted a back 4, and they weren’t smart enough to realise that meant you’d have to move to the B Team.

So yes, we’re doing things my way now and you’re back in.

On the bench, obviously. I’m not starting you ahead of Lyanco. ‘

If SR don't act after this then I want nothing to do with the club.

    Just stole this from SaintsWeb:

Summary if needed. of Jones' interview...

Moments changed the game and it has been happening all season
I have compromised too much, we apparently can't play a 3. I want to be an aggressive front footed side
I have compromised on my principles
I have listened to people and it has been to my detriment
I was statistically one of the best in Europe for being aggressive on the pitch and getting the balls in the box
we have not had the type of players needed
we are not further ahead when I arrived, and that is my fault as I compromised too much
the 5 weeks during the world cup was difficult as not all were there
we have been better, but today that team was my fault, I never saw myself in the team, which was sad
They defended properly, we do not and that has been going on too long
I need to improve and to do that i need to go back to being me and I cannot compromise like I have been
we need to win, we need points, we are not a team I associate with

I compromised because I chose to and because I had to.

I have to produce a team that is far more competitive that what we are seeing and I will.

He’s basically saying it’s my fault, and then goes on to say it’s not his fault it’s because he compromised because of other people. Dick.
