Listened to the interview and he doesn’t explicitly blame the fans. The quotes above were genuinely incorrect.

It makes you wonder though - the guy is very insecure and as I saw mentioned in a tweet (I think by someone who also posts here) he seems to have a severe case of Impostor Syndrome as a PL Manager. But it there any way of even factoring that into the interview process? You can't have candidates meet a mental health specialist and share results. Could you have one on the interview panel perhaps?

 

Some of that interview reminds me a lot of Steve Bruce towards the end of his time at Newcastle
