I, and pretty much all fans I know, were underwhelmed by his appointment. But I was willing to give it a go because there are many managers that have stepped up from the Championship and proved their worth - one of them being another Rasmus appointment (Frank). But it gets to a point when it looks at though we were sadly correct with our initial worry that he wasn't the man for us.
Jones is looking more Dijkhuizen than Frank. Let's hope Rasmus makes sure to repeat what he did with that one and sacks the guy after three/four months.
I would get a season ticket next year even in the championship, but if this miner is in charge, it will be a no thanks from me.
It’s pretty simple. The only chance we have of staying in the PL is sacking Jones asap and getting the next appointment right. Jones has shown nothing in 3 months to suggest he can even make a fight of this. Not sure what qualities he’s supposed to be bringing to us because even aggression, his favourite quality, we don’t show. Last roll of the dice time SR. We can’t afford to give him anymore time and frankly, he’s done nothing to show he deserves it.
