£10.00 for a away tickets, let's fill the away end for this one. A bargain in the championship for away supporters. Onward and upward.
We were recently voted the cheapest day out. That includes an adult ticket, pie, tea and program. Its not a bad day out. We are a friendly bunch so dont worry about bringing kids. We will certainly be up for it!!
1800 plus went to WHU on a Tuesday night.we should take more at £10.00 a ticket. The only difference was WHU is a more attractive away game. We should have a good following especially with our upturn in results.
That's how much i paid for Norway's ticket...i nearly did a double take...i guess they want to flog as many as they can since it's not a particularly attractive match to sell. Should be a good atmosphere if there's a lot of away support, but we need to get the word round to the home support that it's only a tenner!
On the face of it is a relegation battle but we are only going in one direction (and its not down)... I have fond memories of trips to Watford over the years. First time was about 20 years ago when we were in the running to get in the play-offs and had to win which we eventually did after a fantastic game, 3-2 with I think Biff getting the late winner but sadly, our main rivals also won and we didn't make it - brilliant day out though, great atmosphere with the away end was crammed to bursting... The last time was the Christmas game a couple of years ago when Nicky rediscovered his shooting boots. We arrived late so just had time to get in the ground and buy a coffee before taking our seats only to get up again literally 10 seconds later when Nicky stuck the ball in the back of the net. In fact, I've only ever seen us win there - must go...!
We've been given 502 tickets, so could sell out given the price, but it's on a Tuesday night so who knows http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/7787672.stm I remember this game
502....? - thats about one corner of the away seating...!! I would expect us to be back for some more tickets, and I expect that there will be a number of local City boys who will pay on the night, especially if do ok in the 2 games before this one...
i'd be surprised if you got less than 1000...though they probably thought a tuesday night in Watford may not appeal
When we were on a good run a couple of years back, over 3,000 turned up at Charlton on a Tuesday night. I don't expect that many to go but I do expect more than 500...
26 quid! I didn't realise it cost that much. When I started going it cost 4/- for adults and 2/- for boys. (never did find out how much it cost for girls.)
Yes, times have changed haven't they! I seem to remember only paying a fiver for our cup final appearance, and thinking that that was a bit over the top!
