Rodrigo out for 2 months after a challenge at Accrington .. bone & ligament damage, surgery done .. that's what you get playing away against dross from the lower leagues

Now let's see what JM does, not sure Bamford's quite ready to start yet, needs to be eased back in

Shame. Rod has had a new lease of life under marsch - wouldn’t you agree Billy.

Paddy started last Sunday. He’ll start this Sunday if he doesn’t do an acl while clipping his toenails in the meantime.

Gutted for him and us the fans because without his goals we would be bottom of the league. Lucky we now have options

Couldn't see what we gained by bringing him on for 20 minutes anyway the game was won imo and now our leading scorer absent at a critical juncture of the season, now it's keep everything crossed to see if bam bam will maintain his fitness or succumb to another niggle :(...... just when the garden of hope was in full bloom along comes another kick in the goolies :steam:

Not sure why we still sent Joffy out on loan then ?

Yes better for him but if Bamford breaks down again it would leave us short up front.

So Georgie for the full 90 and every game ?

And as for Gnonto let’s leave him where he’s doing well. Yes I’ve seen him play up top for Italy but that was with a taller strike partner.

Well it will be paddy unless he's crocked again, with georgie as an option. The point was that we probably have other people who would play there ahead of joffy now... not saying rod getting crocked is ideal.

Willy is playing great where he is agreed, but jimmy had scored 4 in 5 before then... and we still have luis and jack as wide options. Don't panic Captain Mainwaring!

Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Marsch criticised for fielding a weakened team against Cardiff and almost loses first leg, He then puts out his strongest, inevitably putting every player at risk of injury and he's still wrong <doh>

Spot on Eire. He could have got injured in training. It's a pity he's out, but we've enough quality to cover his absence.<ok>

If we were to worry about players getting injured, we wouldn't send any on. <ok>

I think the point being made was why take the risk at 3-0 up with 20 minutes to go and the game won. Give him the rest, it’s simple in game management.

But then you’re leaving someone else on instead and they could have been injured

Could have brought one of the 2 keepers on, although it may have looked a little disrespectful.

well now you mention it…. Rodrigo was butchered by all that murderball - it’s testament to Jesse’s careful nurturing that he lasted this long before breaking down again <cheers>
