When you finally understand they are all ****s and just taking the piss out of everyone, you might and that is just might understand politics.
Nope, you are confused.

People on the left politically, believe in an equal share of political power - as explained, representative democracy is the best model for this at national level
Naturally, greater rights and liberties come along with a greater share of political power.
People on the right politically, believe in political power concentrated in one man (dictatorship/monarchy) or a few men (oligarchy).

In a democracy, most believe in it as a model of government - perhaps some changes in detail - like a Constitutional Republic versus a Constitutional Monarchy
(Constitutional Monarchy/Republic means it's a democracy)

So in a democracy, the only real differences are economic in nature and regard the distribution of wealth (including the ownership of the means to its production)
There are no real political differences between the British Labour and Conservative party - only economic ones.

Liberal = less rules restrictions
Conservative = more rules/restrictions.

A damn sight more that you ever will I even studied politics at college And yes, I watch the BBC on my cable TV. There is such a cable TV channel...

Good job you kept your text books to quote from.
Don't imagine there is much call for politics in the plumbing profession.

Not for over 20 years now....but I was a season ticket holder 1967-1975.
I saw my first game in 1967... Leeds United 2 - Rotherham 1 (League Cup I think and the only time I remember Cooper ever scoring)

He must have missed this game then?

7 September 1968 v Wolverhampton Wanderers at Home 2–1 Scorers: Cooper, Charlton.
(It was a Saturday game)
