Shame about Vitinha but… it would’ve been yet another striker under 6ft. Let’s be honest with ourselves, we need a presence up too - especially for Jones’ approach - and he wouldn’t have given us that. I’m holding out hope on Onuachu. If we managed to get an imposing striker and a rising star winger (at a club-record fee!) then it’s hard to be anything other than pleased/relieved. Especially with Alcaraz, Orsic and Bree in the building.
