yep and I don’t think that’s a foregone conclusion. This regime has shown reluctance to bring anybody in unless they’re right for the project. Will be interesting to see if we have to break that (and are willing to) and end up signing somebody we wouldn’t have expected to be considered any day other than deadline day
We need a striker. It’s a must. It’s not a case of “it’ll be nice to have one, but so be it if not”. It’s an absolute must.

What if there isn't the right one available? Or the fees asked are ridiculous? Would you be happy if the club bought in a complete unknown from L1 or L2, just to fill the space ?
I pick up on that as well which hopefully mean contract talk well on the way and will only be held up by the injury itself.
