Wow! Analysis of how the Battle of Hastings went. The things you get on these discussions... brilliant! What I find particularly interesting about the battle is that they are still not completely sure where it was actually fought!
Who isn't sure? The Tories? I know exactly where it was fought, what isn't so certain is that Harry got one in the eye. What is also certain is that some people who gained land at that time are still there in their castles and mansions. Still calling people Harry as we know very well.
We've been drawn away again, to one of Wrexham or Sheff Utd. Tricky tie but both very much beatable opponents. The only potential all-PL ties are United v West Ham or Fulham v Leeds, depending on outcomes in prior games.

But when they looked for stuff that would indicate the battle was there, they found nothing. As Vizzini might say*, it's inconceivable that you can have a battle that leaves no trace.
