I respect your opinion ... but will respectfully disagree ... Blackburn's title triumph was solely down to spending power ... having won it, Jack was happy to bugger off ... no real investment in infrastructure... our owners are not only still here but now investing in an ambitious stadium expansion (not forgetting the currentmost state of the art training complex in Europe )... we won't be spending silly money ... but we will continue with recruitment and development ... and we'll have the biggest and best stadium in the East Midlands in which to pursue more success on the pitch ... As for changing the game ... we already have ... Brighton are very much following our template and reaping the rewards ...
That was a couple of years before I took an interest in football, so had to google it. My parents weren't footie fans, so I blame my mate for the shhite team I support lol. Probably around the Chelsea v Leeds FA Cup Final and replay I started taking an interest. Then the Arsenal double winning team in the subsequent seasons. I remember Man Utd getting relegated, not saying that to wind the lads up btw, but it was a big event at the time.
