That was just rank bad refereeing. DOGSO is debatable. Maybe, maybe not. But it shouldn't have mattered, because Konate was already on a yellow. Give the foul, and regardless of whether it's followed up by a yellow or a red, Konate is walking off. Fortunately, it hopefully now won't matter with that goal.
Pleased to see Liverpool out of the competition. I did not expect their decline to be so rapid this season. It is intriguing to see that Klopp is now talking down expectations for next season. I think he knows he needs to rebuild the club. Both Liverpool and Chelsea now seem to be on a downwards spiral.
Wrexham are unashamedly my 2nd team. Got them consecutive promotions into the PL from the conference on Football Manager 2022 and just fell in love with them.
