Everton already signed one Che last summer (Maupay). Why would they want another one? Looking to build an entire strike force of utterly useless finishers who occasionally score worldies.
So you think it makes sense to have 3 LW and no RW? Stu Armstrong isnt an option, Djenpo is off and Ely well i guess you could count him. Makes no sense.
Apparently Everton are confident of beating us to this signing as they plan to spend the Gordon money.
He'll be looking for a payday, more so as he's leaving on a free, no way we could meet his wage demands.
I would agree with you if it was a permanent deal. Or even a season-long loan. He's apparently on £150k, which is far too high for us I would suggest. But we're only talking a five month loan. That's a total wage of about £3.5m. Throw in a loan fee to Spurs, so call is £4m. Maybe less if the loan agreement wasn't to cover his entire wage. If it was the difference between staying up or going down, £4m would look quite cheap.
It would be if he gives the team greater strength for the rest of the season but I'm not convinced he would to be honest.
