15 year old Andreas Pereira has confirmed that he is joining Manchester United in the New Year.

According to a few sources he's regarded as one of Europe's brightest prospects.

He's also confirmed on his official Twitter account: http://twitter.com/#!/AndreasPePe10

I saw that, on twitter, imagine if he was 21, would be like world news If a player say he is leaving before the window

15 is too young to be getting excited about any player.

    Remember Freddy Adu?

If he was 21 he'd be a prefessional player, at 15 your not. He's signing for us when he's 16.

Hence the trial. And the fact he wasn't a teenager (that's a guess tbh) when he did have a trial with us.

I've always wondered how good he would have been if he signed for a top European club when he was young that would have nurtured him into a top class player, instead of rotting in the MLS.

He was playing for Benfica not too long ago, so a pretty good European team but I don't think he really impressed and has gone into Eastern Europe now on loan or something.

Another one is that Jozy Altidore, he looked a very good prospect a few seasons ago, destroyed Spain in a Confederations Cup game, did well on loan at Fulham too if I recall correctly.
