Here man it's well established that clubs will prioritize one thing over another and manage the squad accordingly don't be facetious

I get your point but with our luck it was probably nailed one one of our key players would get injured.

There’s not a chance I’d have started him today

Cracking first half from the lads. Fulham have had a lot of the ball but we've defended resolutely and we've showed courage when attacking. We probably should have taken 1 of our other chances, but they could have easily had a goal too.

    Good game, good test.

To win a game of football. We havent played in a week and we dont play for another week

What if he was dropped and then did his hamstring in training - these things happen

Im pleased we went out to win the game

We have a player who will offer us the workrate that stewart brings in gelhardt so im less worried than i would have been.

Playing every player is a risk, would you rather we just put out the u21s and u18s? There would be q high chance they would get hammered and that could ruin their confidence

To show how good we've played, we should be at least 2 goals to the good, Fulham has only had 1 good chance to score and Patterson hasn't really had a save to make

He's got injured, players get injured. It is disappointing but it happens all the time.

That's why there is a manager making decisions. You can't "keep" players for certain games IMO, unless they are carrying a previous injury, or unless they have been playing a lot of games.

Being reported as an achilles injury, so we'll see.

We don't need to win this game though. It would be nice but not a necessity

All the photos show him holding his achilles and if he's done that we might as well let his contract expire in the summer

I heard hamstring initially so I'm hoping Achilles isn't as bad?

Good performance this. Probably should have had one more goal. Good defensive organisation. Fulham are a good side but we havent been over matched anywhere.

Massive blow re Stewart. Huge. Going to need to do some smart business now. Gelhardt is a good one but we need that number 9 filled.

I said Fulham could play into our hands if we went a goal up and predicted 3-0 ...

... after seeing that first I think it could happen.

If we keep making chances we'll score again.

Depends if just a tear or a rupture.

If just a tear its bad but not as bad as a rupture. Which would be worst case scenario.

The Achilles is the place on the body that gets the least blood flow, so takes forever to heal.
