Watched the Dyche masterclass. Basically, try and stop them playing out at the back. If that doesn't work. Retreat to the edge of the 18 yard box. Defend narrow. Pack the defensive third with bodies. When we get possession, lump it up to Wood ad get the other 9 outfield players in and around him to pick 2nd balls up and play from there. Not exactly a masterclass. We had a local plumber train my u15 team exactly the same methods in 1995....and I mean exactly.
Arsenal have submitted £60m bid to sign Moises Caicedo as new midfielder Hopefully that means they’re out the running for Weston
Maybe Dyche is being offered a contract until the end of the season with a non relegation bonus, Bielsa being lined up for the new season
Just been reading, Bielsa wanted only to take over the u21's until the end of the season then take control of the first team from next season, as he needed at least 6 weeks to get his methods over to them. He wanted to take his full team too at £1m per month. Everton said he didn't fit in with their plans. Dyche's reported contract will run until the summer of 2025.
A bit of speculation that in flew into London for talks with Spurs and/or West Ham. Also some, that the photo we've all been viewing is from an airport taken some months ago.
Best of luck to Joffy. Good club. Hope he makes the best of the chance as if he returns to Elland Road he could find himself a long way down the pecking order if he doesn't manage to up his game
Gyabi a starter for u21s today but perkins not in the squad. Looks like greenwood and roca for accrington then with perkins on the bench.
I really want McKennie, but I don't want to be held to ransom by Juve. Bielsa is too smart to take the Everton job - Dyche might make a success of the job short term by playing his ugly, ****ty football. I'd sell Harrison if we could get £30m or more for him.
